Jumbo Glacier Resort suffers big setback in environment minister ruling

B.C. Environment Minister Mary Polak issued a ruling June 18 that Jumbo Glacier Resort did not achieve substantial start by a 2014 deadline, meaning they’ll have to reapply for an environment certificate, which is considered to be a big setback for the controversial proposed resort.
