RCMP have suspended searches for missing persons Jared Szabo and Allan Ellsworth. RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said so far RCMP have no conclusive theories on why the two men may have gone missing. The RCMP have also been unable to connect the two cases.

Missing person update: Jared Szabo’s truck removed from Incomappleux River

The truck belonging to missing Revelstoke resident Jared Szabo, 29, was recovered from the Incomappleux (Fish) River on Aug. 10, but police are reporting that nobody was found inside the truck.

Second person, Allan Ellsworth, reported missing in Beaton area

Missing person Allan Ellsworth, 53, was last seen in the Trout Lake, B.C. area on July 31, just one day before Jared Szabo, 29, was last seen in the nearby community of Beaton, B.C. RCMP have now confirmed they have located Szabo’s pickup submerged in the Incomappleux River.
