There was a fatal incident involving a train and a pedestrian near Malakwa on June 19.
CP Rail spokesperson Salem Woodrow said a westbound train and an individual “made contact” near Malakwa on June 19, resulting in a fatality.
Both RCMP and CP Rail Police responded, in addition to emergency medical services.
CP Rail released little information about the incident, and Sicamous RCMP were not immediately available for comment.
