The Columbia Valley Skateboard Association is hosting a concept model presentation in preparation of the Kovach Park skatepark build. The new skatepark will replace the current skatepark in the same location.
Skatepark designer New Line Skateparks will present the conceptual design for the 16,000 square foot skatepark. The park’s design will ensure skateboarders of all levels are able to enjoy the park. The park design includes a flow bowl, a two-tier pool style bowl, and a street section.
The presentation takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Revelstoke Community Centre.
Construction on the skatepark is slated to begin this summer.
