Nelson rockers BC/DC will pry the iron jailhouse bars apart with flexing biceps and gritted teeth and lead a jailbreak of their own at the Last Drop Pub on Friday, Dec. 18. I’d love to see a little Scott-esque miming. Just sayin’.
I first saw them play in 2006 at a festival in the Kootenays. I was taking photos and must have been standing right next to the videographer who shot the YouTube video below. They played mid-day on the second stage. I put BC/DC on the cover of the newspaper that week, and people were bummed at me because I didn’t put the headliner on the front page. And they’re a cover band, they said. But the headliner didn’t bring it like BC/DC did.

Hey, there’s always another AC/DC tune.. and BC/DC always seems more than eager to blast it out.
