Woodstoke is returning to Revelstoke Saturday, September 3, with a lineup of 15 local bands, DJs and folk artists. The event will host seven hours of live music and include food trucks, a beer garden, kid’s entertainment, and a shuttle bus to and from the venue.
In a media release, Woodstoke organizers describe the festival as a celebration of local talent and the community’s love of forests. With seven hours of live music from 15 acts across three stages, the festival is set within the stunning Riverside Forest Walk on Highway 23 North below the Forestry Museum.
Woodstoke takes place on Saturday, September 3, from 2 p.m. till 9 p.m. It’s a family-friendly live music event, and children under 12 enter for free.

What to expect
“The music this year is even bigger and better than ever as we launch a new stage, the Landing Zone, where we encourage festival goers to stretch out their picnic rugs and take in the vibes,” Woodstoke organizers write in the media release. “Crowd-pleasers such as Partial To Pie, DJ SiFi and Sidewalk Semantic and new acts like The Dunkin Skank Experience and TreeAge will have you up on your feet. With a major light show from Randy Jones.”
The DJ Jungle Stage on the outer loop of the Riverside Forest Walk will host local DJs Dolla Hilz, FRamer, DJ Yan and Spanda. The Highway Stage will be played by DJ Wes and Nibbs.
The event will be catered by an array of Revelstoke’s local food trucks.
“We will also have the kids jumping castle and the popular Arts in the Forest,” said event organizer Glenn Wustrup. “For those over 19, there will be the Beer Garden accessible (two pieces of photo ID are required).”
Getting to Woodstoke
Ticket holders can leave their cars at home and catch the shuttle bus from downtown Revelstoke. The buses run regularly between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. If you choose to drive, parking is available at the Forestry Museum. The event site is a three-kilometre bike ride from Revelstoke.
